“To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice.”
                                     Confucius

Reflection:

The reflection to me means that when you know what is right and you choose to ignore and continue doing what’s wrong is the worst thing ever. Why would you do the wrong thing when you know what’s the right thing? It just does not make any sense to me. It’s like when yesterday two of my classmates were caught cheating and they know it’s wrong and if there caught there are going to be consequences then why would you still do it, because they choose chose the wrong the teacher humiliated them in the class and put them in her wall of shame. Don’t do the wrong when you know what the right is already.

Athlete's Honesty

The story that I just witnessed was a really interesting story. Most of you know that now a days people almost never choose the right so its hard to find people that do.  On a Sunday after noon  football Players in a small town in New Jersey decided that they were going to do the right thing. It was about 11 o'clock at night and they walked into a mini market that  they thought was open it turns out that the store was closed but the person that was suppose to close it accidentally left it open and these 4 football players walked in because they wanted to buy somethings and when they saw that nobody was there they got the things they wanted and you would think that they would steal this thongs right but not they actually paid for these things and left the taxes also. These foot ball players CHOOSE THE RIGHT and because they choose the right they got rewarded for it and now are famous for there honest behavior. I was really interested on this story because I could not believe that there are still some honest people out there that want to do the right. If they did the wrong thing they would have been in serious trouble but instead they got rewarded for it and got a $50 gift card. And all thanks to technology that the video cameras caught it on tape.

My Summer

My summer:

This summer I did not really do a lot but I still had fun. I spent my summer relaxing and enjoying being out of school and just relaxing for a while. I went to different places also and meant a lot of new places. At first I thought that it was going to be boring and that I wasn’t going to do anything but then I ended up doing a lot. My summer actually went by quick and I didn’t even want to end of course nobody wants there summer to be end but it just has to. My brothers play a lot of soccer and they go to different cities and I go with them so I could also see new places. On the 4th of July weekend I went to Las Vegas and spent 6 days there with my aunt. We went to a lake called Lake Mead and had a really nice time there enjoying and relaxing in the water. Since it was really hot almost 110 degrees it was really fresh to be in the cold lake. The lake was empty for it being the 4 of July weekend. My family didn’t even want to leave the lake everyone wanted to stay there we left the lake probably like at 12 it was so much fun and I wish that I could go back to that day. We popped fireworks outside of their house and did a barbeque and loved being there. Well that was my summer that I wish I could go back too.

“Always do  Right
Mark Twain

Reflection:
This quote to me is saying always try do the right thing and make the right choices no matter what. There is a lot of peer pressure now but even without that you should know what’s wrong from right. It only has one meaning to me and that is just do the right thing and your life will be much easier than doing the wrong thing. When your friends tell you to do something that you know is wrong just reflection on it and think what will my consequences be if I do the wrong thing and what will they be if I do the right thing. Most likely you should do the right thing. If you do right you will go really far in life and make people happy for your success.

“Success is simple Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.”
                                                      Arnold H. Glasgow

This meaning to me means that doing well in life is simple but only if you try to succeed. If you do everything well and not try to do anything bad then things will turn out your way no matter what. If you do things bad then obviously things will turn out bad for you and I can assure you that in the end you will regret all the wrong decisions that you made. If sometimes you think what I should do, like on a test that you didn't study for and you say should I cheat and copy off my partners test or should I just take the test and fail it and learn my lesson for not studying. Well this is a hard one but if you do the right thing that something good will come out of you doing it. If you choose the wrong thing then don’t expect good consequences. Doing good is simple and sometimes feeling the way you feel is better than any reward you can get. It is real easy to do well you’re just going to have to do it yourself.

" We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to                                                             stop what we shouldn't do. "
                                                      Richard L. Evans

I think that to me this means that if we know that we are doing something wrong we are our own people to stop what were doing and do something that's right. Sometimes we as teenagers say that we do wrong things because of peer pressure but i think that its not true because If we didn't want to do them we wouldn't do them. Our peers aren't the ones that control our body or mind we control and we should know whats right from wrong. I don't think that people should be telling us what is wrong and what is right cause we have our own grown mind that can help us to do that. If we choose the wrong path its not anybody's fault but our own because we choose that path nobody makes your decisions but you.We have the courage to do the right thing and we have the courage to do the wrong things that we should also have the courage to accept the consequences either from our bad actions or good actions.

Summer Experience

This summer I did not do any of the stuff that  I would have liked to do but I still had fun  during my summer vacation. This summer I just pretty much just relaxed at my house an I did go out once in while. I spent most of the days in soccer fields since my family are really big soccer fans and my brother plays it so we encourage him a lot in his game. We went t o Vega's for the 4th of July and spent it with my family over there. Since I have family over there I got to go out a lot and experience new things with my cousins over there. We went for 2 days in a row to the lake in Helen dale , the only bad thing about that was that the lake had too many rocks everywhere and if you walked barefoot your feet would hurt really bad. the second day we made it work because we end being water shoes for our feet and after that was solved we got to enjoy the beauty of the lake. The lake was very clean and beautiful we got there like at 1 and left like at 11 at night we spent all day there and didn't even want to leave. we had so much fun there and I can not wait to go back and enjoy the beauty of the lake again.  The rest of my summer was just spending a lot of family quality time since my family and I do not really do that it was great doing it for a really long time that was pretty much my summer.

                                                                   Peter F. Drucker

Reflection: I think that this statement means  that you should always start with something higher than something that is just basic. You should always go for something higher rather than just something that you think is alright for you. Push yourself to the limit it does not matter if you think you can not do it just try and try and push yourself to success. At first it might not be what you expect but if you wanna make something of yourself and be a great professional than start off with a challenge. Sometimes you might not want it but go for the challenge.

HPIAM

This is a brand new school that opened up in the 2012-2013 school year. HPIAM is here to help us out with anything that we need to succeed with. The teachers here are great teachers who care about our education and care about us doing great in school. The teachers here want to see all of us succeed and make something of our lives. This year I hope to pass my AP exam and do great in my classes. I hope that with my teachers help and my interest in doing good and succeeding will get me those good grades.
