“I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right.”
                                                                                        -Dean Smith

Reflection:

This quote to me means that he wasn't trying to make great basketball players; he was trying to make great leaders great men. This man did not want to be remembered for winning games or for coaching great basketball players but he wanted people to remember what great human beings they were and what great things they did for themselves. He never gave up on his players he always knew that there could be more for them and more opportunities for them also. He only did what he knew was right not what everyone expected him to do or what was expected from him. There is also a quote where it says if you work on what you love doing you never work a day in you’re a  life and an example to me is him, he might have not felt like he worked a day in his life because he enjoyed doing it so much that it wasn't like that for him. A great man right here who gave everything for his players to make good men out of them.

                                                                                                 -Mr.Haymore

Reflection:

This quote to me means that if you choose the right a lot of good things will happen to you because you choose the right way. If you choose the wrong then bad things will happen to you because you did not take the time to think about what you are about to do. If you stand and think before you act a lot of good things can happen because you actually thought about it. If you choose to just go straight to doing something wrong then bad things will happen to you. Don’t forget to always choose the right and to never choose the wrong. Make good choices and good things will happen to you. Before when I would not care about school I did not think that my actions would affect me later on in life but trust me it did because later on when I was more mature I would think to myself Why did I do that? Or what was I think about when I was doing that? I choose the wrong many times but now I am glad that I have deiced to choose the right and I continue to do so.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education.”
                                                                                                            -Aristotle

Reflection:

This statement to me means that you first have to educate your mind in order to feel anything like love or something besides that. Educating the mind is the best thing to do because that way your mind is already filled with knowledge and it needs more knowledge. Having knowledge is the best thing that you can have.  Knowledge and feelings is the best thing that can make you quickly recognize what is wrong and right. Educating your heart and brain is the best thing both makes you an educated young woman or young men.

“Choosing the right is always the right thing to do.”
                                                                     -Alex Linares
Reflection:
This statement to me means that when you choose the right thing to do it always is right but when you choose the wrong thing it will turn out wrong. You have to do the right thing in order for things to come out tour way. One time I decided not to ditch school with my friends because I had a feeling that something was going to happen and yes that day they did a random check and went to the classroom’s and they found out they did ditch. I felt good that day and I choose the right.
