Reflection:

This quote to means that no matter how hard you try to feel good when you have done something wrong it is impossible because your conscious will not let that happen. Your conscious is there to tell you should be feeling guilty for what you have done. Your conscious isn't the only thing that will not leave you alone but also your mind and your heart. This has happened to me before a lot one example was when I told my parents that I was going to sleepover my cousin’s house that night but instead we snuck out of her house and ended up going to a party all night. Throughout the night I was feeling horrible that I lied to my parents but I was having fun that I really didn't care. In the morning was when I was feeling horrible and my guilt was just killing me but in the end I got over it.
