"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."
  -David A. Bednar

This quote is trying to tell us that being happy revolves around obedience, but is this really true. What if they're making you do something that you do not want to do but because you have to be obedient you have to do it but it has nothing to do with you. Then how can you really be happy like that? Im not saying not to listen to what people tell you but to also do what you think is going to make you happy.

100 Goals Reflection

We started in this class a journal about goals that we have in our lives, those goals were personal to us because they were something that we need to accomplish on our own. Those goals of mine currently are in the progress of being achieved. I have accomplished some since I started writing those goals and I have added a few more to my 100 plus goals. My commitment to this throughout my life would be reading them at least once a week and adding some new goals and marking "victory" on the ones that I have achieved so far.

Class Reflection

1. What did you like best about this class?
What I like best about this class was that Mr. Haymore Our teacher would constantly being motivating us to do well in life and to choose the right and to also make really good choices in life. He taught us how not to give up on something but we should do it by choosing the right.

2. What did you dislike about this class?
What I disliked about this class was that I did not have anybody to talk to during the class, that is the only thing that I dislike about this class.

3. What can you recommend to improve the class?
I think that maybe showing more videos of stuff that actually happen in real life might be a good one.

4. What will you always remember about this class?
In this class I will always remember to choose the right. I will remember to do good in life by making good choices, and  that I should always have goals in my life. Mr. Haymore has been a great inspiration!

“Obedience is the great test of life.”    -Thomas S. Monson

Life is always giving you some sort of test to see how well you handle it, the way you handle the test life is giving is on you. Obedience is one of the many tests that life gives you, the way you handle obedience is on you. You either listen to what people tell you or you don’t. People always expect you to listen to what they say and do what  they tell you to do.

What it’s trying to tell us is that you have to listen to what other people are telling you. When you listen to what they tell you well be a good person because you are obeying what they say to do. But you do not have to do but it’s something that they ask to do it.

“Obedience sums up your entire duty.”
-Hosea Ballou

When you listen to what people are telling you then you’re doing the right thing, but sometimes as teens we do not want to do everything everyone tells us because we feel like they are just telling us what to do. I believe we should listen to our parents and adults the most but when it comes to your own peers telling you what to do it is up to you.
