“I will persist until I succeed.” -Og Mandino

This quote means that I will keep pushing myself for better until I succeed. Succeeding to me means that my dreams and my goals will come true which ever those goals are. Just because something did not go my way does not mean that my dreams will not come true I just have to keep pushing myself to make the dreams of mine come true. No one’s dreams come true just like that everyone once has hit a rocky road and has had to get up from it and sometimes maybe even without anybody’s help at all. Og is a good example of persisting because he wanted to give up and maybe even take his life away but life has your own path for you because something stopped him from doing this and know he is a famous man.

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence
Talent:  will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent
Genius:  will not unrewarded genius is almost a proverb
Education:  will not, the world is full of educated deficits
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan press ok’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”       -President Calvin Coolidge

This quote means that if you really want to follow a dream there should be nothing there stopping you! If you have determination nothing should be able to replace determination nothing because that is all you have. If you want something in your life you have to have determination in order for the thing you want to come true. All those famous people today that always had determination they never gave up even though they had a lot of doors slammed in their faces they still did not give up, so we shouldn't give up on following our dreams if we really want those dreams to come true.

“Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement.”   -Matt Biondi

Determination can change all the failure that you have had into life into life into something extraordinary that makes you achieve your dreams and goals. This a great statement for me because I believe that this can happen when I was a freshman in high school I was doing horrible in all my academics and even my life, I was constantly being called into the office for something that I did or they heard I did something but when I started 10th grade and a new  school  I knew that it was time for me to change and I did not give up on becoming the best person that I can be. On this day I am an 11th grader almost done with it and on my way to becoming a senior with my grades only being A’s and B’ when my grades used to be C’s and D’s. Everything is possible if you just believe and have determination in achieving the goals that you want, but you have to work hard in order to be a better person or in order for you to make your goal come true. I am going to continue doing what I’m doing and trying harder to get those grades up where I know that they can be. I am proud of myself for having persistence.

The answers to these questions will determine your success or failure.
1.   Can people trust me to do what’s right? YES!
2.  Am I committed to doing my very best? YES!
3.  Do I treat people the way I want to be treated? Sometimes
 -Lou Holtz

These questions may be the importance of life because these questions make you actually think about what you want to do with your life and if you are capable of doing those things. I am committed to becoming a great person and I think that people can trust me to do what is right instead of what is wrong. Sometimes I do tend to treat people a little bad but now I know that I need to change that. If I change the last thing about me I think that I am on the right path to becoming a more successful person.

John F. Kennedy Speech

The speech that president Kennedy gave was trying to persuade people to exercise more and stay active and fit. We need to change our life style and the way we eat because sometimes we are so worried about work and school and other things that we forget to eat or we eat in a rush and then we are too tired to exercise and we just don't do it. Find time to exercise and find time to eat a better diet. I will try to exercise a lot more everyday and try to eat healthier.

“Physical Fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the sounds of the body and the activities of the mind is simple and complex. Your body your mind and your spirit.
-       John F. Kennedy

This quote to me means that you have to take care of your life and your health because if you don’t take care of it nobody else will take care of it for you. Have a healthy mind and a healthy attitude. Try to stay in shape and eat a well-balanced nutrition. Sometimes we tend not to eat something healthy because of how good it is but what we don’t know is what it is causing for our bodies and the harm that it can be doing. We have to be healthy and stay in shape without the doctors telling us that it may be too late for us already, always try to do a little exercise a day.
