Student Success Statement
”
When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”
-
Abraham Lincoln
Reflection:
This quote
to me means that when I do something good it makes me feel good about myself and
what I have done makes it even better. When I do something bad my conscious won’t
leave me alone and it makes me feel horrible until I fix what I have done. Like
when I offered my seat to an older lady I felt really good because that to me
made me feel proud of myself because I did it with anyone telling me that I had
to do it. When I do something bad like when I don’t want to help my little
brothers out with something and they leave it makes me feel really bad that I
have to call them back and help them out with what they needed help with in the
first place. Sometimes your conscious is stronger than you are and takes over
with all the guilt that you have inside. Do not let the guilt eat you alive do
the right thing.
