Nursing Home Administrator
They plan and direct
operations of nursing homes and longtime care facilities. They look at what the
personnel, financial, medical and nursing administration do. Most of them work
in nursing homes, but some of them tend to work for large corporations that
control many facilities, some of them are also involved in teaching and doing
research.
Average Salary:
$40,000-$55,000
Educational Requirements
Students that want to become
this should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math,
and English. The requirements are different but most of the states require
nursing home administrators, complete an internship program and pass a
comprehensive exam.
I do not think that I would like to become a
nursing home administrator because I would like to work in something that has
more interaction with the patients.
