“Cowardice asks the question, is it safe? Expediency ask the question, is it politic? Vanity asks the question, is it popular? But, conscience ask the question, is it right? And there comes a time when we must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one’s conscience tells one that it is right.” –Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

I think that the statement is trying to say that sometimes in life we do have to take risks that are not always in our comfort zone but we have to take them because we know that it is the right thing to do because our mind is telling us that it is the right thing to do. We tend to stay in our little groups where we do not know what happens outside of our group especially in high school because we are so caught up in not trying to ruin our high school experience that we take the easy way out and not take the risks that we should have taken and then we end up regretting the things that we did not do or the things we did not accomplish because we were so busy being scared to try new things and to follow our conscience.

Pharmacist Technicians work in pharmacies under the direction of a pharmacist. Their main obligation is filling treatments according to doctors’ orders f or patients. The technicians measure out correct amounts of medication from larger containers to treatment size containers. In addition they add drugs to intravenous solutions.  All of their prescription filling work is rechecked by a pharmacist before medications are dispensed to patients or customers.  Other duties of pharmacy technicians are:
Checking registers and ordering supplies.
Keeping the pharmacy work area clean.
They help fill out protection forms.
Pharmacy technicians work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and some large business complexes.

Average Salary:  $15,000 - $25,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take math, science (especially chemistry), and typing courses in high school.
A high school diploma is usually required to begin pharmacy technician training.  Two year courses leading to certificates are available at most community colleges.  Six month programs are offered at privately operated schools.

I do not think that I would like to become a Pharmacy Technician because  I want to be able to work directly with patients.

“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.”
                                                                                                -Michael Phelps

This quote to me means that the more you dream about what you want to become and what you want to do with your life the more likely you can achieve it. You have to want and have big dreams in order to make something of your life. If you do not have dreams and goals then what do you want to work for and what do you want your life to become? Everyone needs dreams in order to push yourself into doing what you most want to do or what you most desire. My goal is to become a registered nurse and I have those dreams in my head and I think about them every day and  when I do think about them I think I need to push myself to my extreme limit in order for that to come true. This week are finals and this the week that counts and the week that I need to push myself the most in order to achieve my dreams and aspirations. Without any dreams or goals where are you going in life, where is your mind when it wants to be pushed into doing something bigger and better. Your mind and your heart tell you what to do but you need to go for those dreams. Like Phelps says you cannot put a limit to your dreams you just can’t go for it and do not let anyone tell you that you are not good enough or that you won’t be able to do it. Just do it and prove all of those people wrong that they were wrong about you and you proved them wrong. Live your life to your fullest dreams.
