Reflection:

To me this quote means that it is better to do the right thing then to be suffering on doing the wrong thing. By suffering it means your conscience not leaving you alone and making your life miserable and your mind making you feel regrets towards whatever you have done. When I cheated on my Boyfriend and I knew that it was wrong but I did it anyway my conscience would not leave me alone anything that I would do I would think what if I get caught or what if they tell them both in the end I broke up with both and decided never to do that again because living with my conscience the way I was living was hell for me. Live with a clean conscious and no regrets.

Reflection:

This quote means to me that  when you think that something is wrong but don’t want to tell your friends because you know that they are going to make fun of you for being a goody good then you choose to stay quiet. Sometimes the right thing is not want the cool crowd or the cool kids do the right thing is what you think is right and what you know is right. It does not matter what other people think of it because in the end you are the one that is going to live with the consequences not them.  A good example is when I was in 9^th grade I wanted to the cool kids to like me so I went up to an innocent girl and started talking bad to her and the only reason that I did it was because I wanted to be one of them and in the end when I got in trouble they were not there as friends that they supposedly were. Stand up for what you think is right.
