Harmful Effects of Drug Abuse

The people that are taking drugs look like they are going crazy after a while. they look like they are enjoying it but there family members don't enjoy it at all. Drugs hurt the ones you love but you end up not knowing that you are hurting your loved ones because you are so into the drugs. Drugs make you change who you are you will never be the same. You are a completely different person with a completely different personality. You will never know who you are during those times. When you are done with drugs and have sobered up you are back to the person that you used to be and the person that everyone loved before you went into the habit of using drugs. We need to learn as people to stay drug free no matter what do not fall into the influence of drugs.

Reflection:

This quote to me means that you only need one person just one person to change everything and to start something. That person if it is the right person should change everything. You do not need a crowd of people to start something you in reality just need one person to change it. When one person decides to change it all then more people will get involved and you will see how things turn out. Just like in the video that was shown to us in class only one man was standing playing his instrument in the middle of town and in the end a lot of people started playing there instruments with him. The ending was amazing of this video because  it was a big circle of a community surrounded to hear the amazing music the man played and ended with more than 50 people joining him.

Reflection:

This quote to me means that if you choose the right a lot of good things will happen to you because you choose the right way. If you choose the wrong then bad things will happen to you because you did not take the time to think about what you are about to do. If you stand and think before you act a lot of good things can happen because you actually thought about it. If you choose to just go straight to doing something wrong then bad things will happen to you. Don’t forget to always choose the right and to never choose the wrong. Make good choices and good things will happen to you. Before when I would not care about school I did not think that my actions would affect me later on in life but trust me it did because later on when I was more mature I would think to myself Why did I do that? Or what was I think about when I was doing that? I choose the wrong many times but now I am glad that I have deiced to choose the right and I continue to do so.

Environmental Health Specialists

Duties and Responsibilities:
	Environmental health specialists enforce government regulations and advise and educate clients.  They also improve water and sanitation facilities and are involved in improving the quality of community environments.  They often:  Collect and analyze samples. Screen samples for possible health hazards. Design or manage sanitation, disposal, and water systems. Oversee disposal of infectious wastes. Develop and manage prevention and education programs. Evaluate and identify health hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Average Salary:  $25,000 - $50,000
Educational Requirements:
	Students should take college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and science, during high school.  A career as a environmental health specialist requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in environmental health or environmental engineering.  Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these, or related fields.  I do not think that I would like to be an Environmental Health Specialist because I am not very good with helping out the community to be clean and germ free. I am good to help my family out with that but an entire city I do not think I would be good with that. CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

This statement to me means that when you choose the right thing to do it always is right but when you choose the wrong thing it will turn out wrong. You have to do the right thing in order for things to come out tour way. One time I decided not to ditch school with my friends because I had a feeling that something was going to happen and yes that day they did a random check and went to the classroom’s and they found out they did ditch. I felt good that day and I choose the right.

Reflection:

This quote means that it’s better to have nobody by your side than to have somebody that can be ruining your life. When you have somebody that is bringing you down and just causing negativity in your life why have that person in your life. Having nobody in your life is sometimes better than having people who just bring you problems. Why have somebody that just wants the worst for you and just wants to see you suffer, leave all those negative people outside of your life and just bring positive people into your life. I don’t really have an example for this quote but I think a good example would be when somebody is offering you to drink or smoke and you have never done it and they are forcing you to do it then they need to get out of your life for good. If somebody were to tell me that I would have right away put them in their place and told them a straight up No!

Reflection: This quote to means that if something is right to you and someone is saying that it is wrong you should fight for until people understand why it is right. Fight for it until people understand you and when someone says it’s wrong you prove them wrong. When I wanted to go help my friend out my other friends told me not to because she wasn’t being a good friend but I didn’t care because I knew that I was doing the right thing, so I continued to do the right thing.
