Abraham Lincoln's Promise

The promises that Abraham Lincoln made was that when he was on a trip with a colonel he asked him if he would like  a drink or a smoke and Abraham  told him a story that he was going to tell him about his mother. He promised his mom that he would never drink or smoke any tobacco. He kept that promise to his mom and would not let her down. I think that he made a good promise to his mom and he was willing to keep that promise. I think that I would do the same thing if I ever made that promise to someone no matter what that promise was.

“Man’s rise or fall, success or failure, happiness or unhappiness depends on his attitude….. A man’s attitude will create the situation he imagines.”
      -James Allen

This is a true quote because I have personally experienced that when you have a positive attitude about something that you really want to do and you have all the intentions of doing them right then you have to have a good attitude on what you are doing. If you have a bad attitude about doing something then obviously what you are doing is going to come out wrong no matter what you do. Always have a good attitude about something or else that thing will not come out good. If you have a bad attitude then you will start to think about all the bad things that could go wrong and in the end those bad things that you imagined could go wrong actually goes wrong, but when you imagine all these good thoughts and have this great attitude then all the things will end up going right.

“Kindness is the essence of greatness.” –Joseph B. Wirthlin

I think that this statement can be true because like we saw in the video the little boy Ian did a thing that no one expected him to do I mean who would have thought that he would give that ball away to the other kid and because he did what he did he got rewarded for it. When you do good things, good things happen to you when you least expect them to happen. But do not just do good things in order for something good to happen to you do good things from the kindness of your heart. Sometimes the nicer you are to people the better opportunities you’ll get of being happy. Always help someone in need.

“Visualization-Imagination: What you see is what you get”

We only need to have that imagination in our heads in order for our dreams to come true, I mean how our dreams are going to come true if we do not visualize what we want to do with our lives. If you have this goal set in your head about what you want to do with your life or what you want to be then they will most likely come true. Like I said always have the imagination of a little kid because if you do not have the imagination then you are missing out on a lot. Don’t you remember being a kid and imagining yourself being a movie star or something big and you did everything in your power to make that happen? Well remember that little kid because we all need to have it inside of us, we need to have the imagination of a kid again!
